Renting
a straight Stairlift
Renting a straight stairlift is no big issue to
most stairlift suppliers and all can supply and install top leading
brand names! Stannah, Acorn, Minivator, Bison Bede just to name
a few. Obviously since its a stairlift rental plan chances are
the stairlift that is to be supplied and installed will be a reconditioned
unit. You can request a new unit be installed but obviously this
will incur a larger cost
Costs
of renting a stairlift
A straight stairlift rental plan costs around £50-60
per month, a small one time installation fee will be required.
This fee covers the stairlift installation and security bond etc.
A free no obligation home survey will be required to calculate
the exact down payment and monthly fee etc
Some
advantages of renting stairlifts
Initial outlay
costs are a lot lower than purchasing a new or reconditioned stairlift
No breakdown or maintenance bills (Depending on your chosen stairlift
rental plan)
When you no longer require your stairlift you just arrange for
the stairlift rental supplier to remove it
Renting
curved stairlifts
Renting a curved stairlift is a lot more complicated
than renting a straight stairlift. Due to the large amount of
variables involved its hard to give a ballpark figure on rental
price! Curved stairlifts are made to measure... a full site survey
will be required to calculate the amount of curved radiuses and
track length etc.
A good
stairlift supplier may be able to offer an alternative to fitting
a curved stairlift? Fitting two straight stairlifts could solve
the problem and even with the installation of two units the outlay
costs would still be considerable lower to buying or renting a
curved stairlift. Though sometimes this cannot be feasible or
implemented on certain types of staircases
Don't
be discouraged by the above! Many people rent curved stairlifts,
it just takes a little longer to find the correct stairlift and
solution to solve your problem. Just fill out our secure two minute
email form and we will do all the work of finding the right stairlift
and rental plan to suit your needs
